Becoming Present with Lauren Fonvielle

Welcome back to Restorative Grief with Mandy Capehart. You are listening to episode 49, titled “Becoming Present with Lauren Fonvielle.” Grievers know fatigue is a constant companion. Whether we are drained physically, mentally, or emotionally, our whole selves sometimes find that the traditional methods to rest and digest may not be serving us as they did once before. My guest on the show today is an Integrative Energy Practitioner, specializing in EFT/Tapping for stress, anxiety, and trauma. She guides her clients on a journey of self healing to breakthrough obstacles that are holding them back in life. Lauren believes we all have the answers within, and sometimes we just need a little help accessing them. Our conversation today is going to present EFT as an optional methodology for becoming present to our losses and finding new movement forward.

Thank you for listening to episode 49 of Restorative Grief. As with all methodologies, some people will find great relief from EFT/Tapping and others not so much. Does that mean it’s ineffective? Heck no! Just as some people work really well by journaling, others would rather burn the paper for catharsis than write on it. Getting to know yourself – what moves the needle for you – is where you will start to discover what methods and tools support your healing journey. It can be really discouraging to feel as though the traditional methods of talk therapy, group counseling, or writing about your feelings aren’t helpful – where can you go from there? That’s the beauty of exploring other ways of viewing our whole selves – by finding what makes us feel fully alive in our minds, hearts, bodies, and spirits, we gain access and insights to what will bring us into realignment as well.

As always, please subscribe to Restorative Grief, leave a review wherever you listen, and consider sharing this episode with any friend who may be feeling stalled out in their grieving process. A new methodology could be just the thing for a little more forward motion.

And one last thing – Remember, the only solution to grief is to do the work of grieving. Thanks for listening. I’ll see you next week.
