Speaking & Events

Some conversations change people because they finally feel honest.

That’s the kind of space I try to create when I speak.

My work sits at the intersection of grief, identity, burnout, emotional resilience, spirituality, leadership, nervous system awareness, and what it means to stay connected to yourself through change.

I speak from lived experience as much as professional training. My background includes grief education, somatic practice, Enneagram coaching, leadership work, and more than 20 years in worship leadership within Christian spaces. That combination allows me to speak to grief, transition, faith, burnout, and identity in ways that are grounded, emotionally aware, and deeply human.

Whether I’m speaking to leaders, caregivers, faith communities, nonprofit teams, conference audiences, or people quietly trying to rebuild themselves after loss, the goal stays the same: helping people feel less alone and more connected to what is true.

Topics & Themes

Every event is customized for the audience and context, but common themes include:

  • Grief beyond death and the many ways loss reshapes identity
  • Burnout, overwhelm, and nervous system strain
  • Emotional labor and the pressure of being “the strong one”
  • Leadership through uncertainty and change
  • Faith transitions, deconstruction, and rebuilding belonging
  • Enneagram insight for growth, self-awareness, and relationships
  • The body’s role in healing, regulation, and resilience
  • Living honestly inside complicated systems and communities
  • Restorative approaches to healing, support, and connection

These themes can be adapted for conferences, retreats, churches, leadership events, wellness spaces, podcasts, panels, workshops, and community gatherings.

Speaking Formats

I’m available for:

  • Keynote speaking
  • Conferences and retreats
  • Workshops and facilitated conversations
  • Panels and live discussions
  • Podcast interviews and guest teaching
  • Faith-based and deconstruction-informed events
  • Leadership and team gatherings
  • Community and wellness events

Some spaces need structure. Some need conversation. Some need permission to speak honestly for the first time in a long time.

We can shape the format together.

A little more about your speaker, Mandy

I’m a Certified Grief Educator, Somatic Embodiment Practitioner, Enneagram Coach, and author of Restorative Grief. My work integrates mindfulness, nervous system awareness, embodiment practices, storytelling, and relational healing approaches into conversations that are practical, thoughtful, and accessible.

Outside of work, I’m a mom, a licensed youth soccer coach, a reader of almost every genre, and someone with an ongoing commitment to both houseplants and matcha. I also cannot live without seeing and smelling and touching the ocean, so let’s get on with this chat especially if you want to hold an event near the beach!
